Dermatobia Hominis ini adalah nama manja (spesies) kepada seekor lalat ni... lalat ni dikenali sebagai bot fly ataupun american warble fly (yang membiak dalam badan haiwan).
Bot fly ni, adalah diantara spesies lalat yang membiak dalam badan manusia terutamanya kanak-kanak, lalat ni boleh membiak pada bahagian mata, dan juga bahagian usus. Panjang cacing bot fly ni adalah 2 centimeter lebih.

Myiasis can be caused by larvae burrowing into the skin (or tissue lining) of the host animal. Mature larvae drop from the host and complete the pupal stage in soil.
